BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT 2014
Dear Athletic Director/Basketball Coaches:
The East Brunswick Athletic Department is sponsoring its 33rd Annual Boys & Girls Junior Varsity
Basketball Tournament. There will be a $100.00 entry fee per team to help cover expenses and
Awards. Checks should be made out to East Brunswick Athletic Events and sent to Frank
Noppenberger. (Late entries will affect your seeding)
The record sheets, checks and rosters are due before February 10, 2014. The purpose of the
tournament is to provide tournament experience to J.V. players and to give these deserving athletes
their due recognition.
A player is eligible for the tournament if He/She has been on the J.V. roster all year and does not play
more than 4 quarters at any other level from February 10, 2014 to the end of the J.V. tournament. NO
EXCEPTIONS. PLEASE HONOR THE RULES.

3.
SCHOOLS WILL BE NOTIFIED OF SEED & OPPONENT BY NOON ON FEB. 14TH.

A couple of items to be remembered and followed.
1.
All Schools must provide security at semifinals and finals.
2.
The two (2) schools must decide on playing date and time up to semifinals.
3.
Home team hires and pays all officials up to and including quarterfinals.
4.
Higher seed wears white
5.
