Program Goals
1. Students will learn to analyze,
synthesize, and infer from mediumlength/multi-paragraph texts.
Students also will be introduced to
the evaluation of texts.

Students will analyze medium-length
written texts for grammatical accuracy
and cohesion.
Students will synthesize information
from sources into medium-length,
original written texts (≤ 500 words) on
personal, practical, social, and general
academic topics.

SWBAT1:
 identify and revise grammatical
and mechanical errors at sentence
level
 identify and revise grammatical
and mechanical errors at paragraph
level
 identify the thesis statement of
multi-paragraph texts

ideas of paragraphs (cohesion) at
