Residents in Halton have a choice where they would like to have blood tests done:
Beaconsfield Surgery
Tuesday and Thursday 9.30am to 11.30am by appointment only
Wednesday and Thursday 1.00pm to 4.00pm by appointment only
Healthcare Resource Centre. Caldwell Road
This clinic is open Monday – Friday between 7 - 8.45am as a drop in service.
Monday, Wednesday. Thursday and Friday 8.40am to 11.15am, Tuesday 10.30am
to 11.15am an appointment is needed, please ring 0151 495 5000.
If you require a fasting blood please inform receptionist so they can give you an
early morning appointment.
HALEBANK CLINIC, HALEBANK ROAD WIDNES.
This clinic is situated in the grounds of the church opposite the speed camera.
It is open Tuesday to Thursday 9.00am to 11.30am.
WHISTON HOSPITAL, YELLOW ZONE, MAIN FLOOR
This clinic is open Monday – Friday 7.00am to 4.30pm no appointment is needed.
ST HELENS BLOOD CLINIC.
This clinic is open Monday and Tuesday 8am-8pm. Wednesday , Thursday and
Friday 8am-5pm no appointment needed
WARRINGTON AND HALTON HOSPITAL
The clinic is open Monday to Friday 9.00am to 4.30pm no appointment needed as
long as patient has blood form.
WHEN AND HOW TO GET YOUR RESUTLS
Results are usually back within 3 days via our Internet Link with the hospitals.
PLEASE RING THE SURGERY BETWEEN 12.00PM AND 2.00PM, NO
SOONER THAN 3 DAYS AFTER YOUR BLOOD TEST, AND IF THE RESULT
IS AVAILABE IT CAN BE GIVEN TO YOU BY OUR RECEPTIONIST.
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL HAVE TO RING IN PERSON, BECAUSE OF
OUR DUTY OF CONFIDENTIALITY TO YOU WE CANNOT DISCLOSE ANY
MEDICAL INFORMATION TO ANYONE ELSE BUT YOU WITHOUT YOUR
WRITTEN CONSENT.
