It is the most automated gel documentation system that allows obtaining optimized image data and analysis from a gel in a single uninterrupted, fast and completely repeatable workflow. The system has the flexibility to image fluorescent and colorimetric samples. The system is powered by Image Lab® software to enable the highest level of automation in hardware calibration, image optimization, image capture and analysis. Unlimited copies of Image Lab software are available with each system to allow free functionality for sharing, analysis, and presentation of gel data. The systems hardware components include a high-resolution 12-bit CCD camera, a light-tight compact darkroom, slide-out transilluminator with preparative mode for added safety when manually visualizing samples with UV excitation.
