Website Updates: By the end of the weekend, I’ll have pictures posted from our Heritage Day Field Trip last
Friday and our Pirate Day today on the website. If you do not want your child’s picture posted on our website,
please send me an e-mail at DHJones2@wsfcs.k12.nc.us.
End of 1st Quarter: Today is already the last day of 1st quarter! Report cards go home on Thursday, November 10th.
Homework Changes: Please see the enclosed letter about homework changes for 2nd quarter. We will also
be making a bigger point of writing in our agendas, as I have realized many students are not doing this.
Wake Forest Reading Program: Fourth grade is participating in a program through Wake Forest University which
encourages the students to read chapter books. They can win prizes, including a ticket to a Wake Forest basketball
game, for participating. There is more information in your child’s binder.
*NO GRADED PAPERS IN THE FRIDAY FOLDER THIS WEEK!
