Abou El-Nour E-mail:zanatya@hotmail.com zanatyaly@yahoo.com Prof. Abou El-Nour, Research Professor of Plant Nutrition, Fertilization Technology Department, National Research Centre, was born on April 10, 1955. He married with three daughters. He graduated from Al-Azhr University with B.Sc. in Agriculture (Agronomy) in 1979. He awarded M. Sc. from the same University in 1987. He awarded Ph. D. from Cairo University in 1994 Through a DAAD Scholarship to West Germany, Technical University of Munich in 1989. Prof. Abou El-Nour participated in several research projects: “Micronutrient and Other Plant Nutrition Problems in Egypt” supported by FRG, Ministry of Economic Cooperation and ASRT since 1981 till now. “Optimization of the Use of Micronutrient Fertilizers”. Salt Control Project “Control of Stalinization and Combating Desertification Effect in the Mediterranean Region, Phase II, Supported by Program INCO-DC. He attended several national and international conferences and meetings. He supervised one Ph. D. and one M. Sc. theses.
