What was life like in
Ancient Egypt?
In set groups students are to research an aspect of daily life in Ancient Egypt
for both a wealthy and poor person. Assign each group (across both classes)
an area: food, work, education, clothing, housing, government, childhood,
art, climate and economy. Groups must produce information and a task for
the rest of the class to complete. They must show that they have used a
variety of sources to research their information. The group can decide how
the information is to be presented and the type of task they set. Remind them
to think about the types of activities they have completed throughout their
schooling. Their lesson should last about 10-15min in total (including task)
Students are to present their information to the class and set the task.
