The development of this online help was part of a major reengineering effort to provide a web interface on several grant-tracking systems used by HUD and its grantees. Wrote five user manuals for various agencies within the Montgomery County Department of Corrections for the Comprehensive Justice Information System (CJIS), a computerized system that performed a variety of tasks to collect, process, retrieve, and protect Montgomery County’s Department of Corrections judicial system information. Manuals included captured screens and step-by-step instruction on the use of the system, as well as procedures for processing defendants at various stages of their incarceration. Also assisted with training of county employees. Also functioned as a software tester for the same system testing for problems in data converted to CJIS.
