Registration papers are required for breed heifers. Percentage heifers require papers to allow for designation to additional classes if appropriate. 4. Heifers must be born after Sept 1, 2013 5. Six (6) head minimum for a breed class, other wise shown in AOB Market Animal Rules 1. Steers will be shown by breed & weight 2. Registration papers are required for breed steers. Six (6) head minimum for a breed class, other wise shown in AOB 5. Market Heifers will be shown by weight General Rules 1. Pioneer Showdown Market Animal & Heifer show is an open show. 2. All cattle must be checked in by Saturday, April 25th by 9 am, NO EXCEPTIONS. 3. Out of State animals must have a vet issued health certificate meeting the State of WI requirements. It will be the discretion of the UWP B & B club to ask for veterinarian inspection of animals that are questionable. 4. Electrical power is limited; the use of generators is strongly encouraged – generators are NOT permitted in the barn 5. The UW-P Block & Bridle Club is not liable for any accidents or losses 6. Pre-entries are due Apr 14, 2015 & are non-refundable. 7. Must have original registration papers (faxes, letters, copies, etc. will NOT be accepted) 8. All tattoos must be legible & match registration papers. Percentage animals require papers & matching tattoos to allow for showing in class other than crossbred should enough animals be entered. 9. All pay outs will be prorated based on number of entries 10. Individuals are asked to stall & park in designated areas ONLY. If you park or stall outside of designated areas, you will be asked to move. 11. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up your own area. NO GARBAGE (plastic, cans, etc) should be left in the bedding. This includes tie outs & trailer area. Garbage bags will be provided as needed. 12. The rules for Minnesota cattle have changed – TB testing is still required, but no import permit. The rules are at (http://www.datcp.state.wi.us) ANIMALS VIOLATING ANY WI DATCP RULES WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE GROUNDS. We respect and honor the International Show Ring Code of Ethics. Direct criticism or interference with the judge, show management, other exhibitors, breed representatives, or show officials before, during, or after the competitive events is prohibited.
