TENDER NOTICE
Sealed Tenders are invited for disposal of the Unserviceable Equipments, Furniture and Scrap items by
Sale on as is where basis is. Terms and conditions are furnished below:
1.
An amount of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand only), towards EMD in the form of DD
drawn in favour of ICAR UNIT CIFT, Cochin payable at State Bank of India, Willingdon Island
should be submitted along with tender.
2.
Tender may be submitted in the prescribed form issued by this office in a Sealed cover superscribed as
“TENDER FOR DISPOSAL OF THE UNSERVICEABLE EQUIPMENTS, FURNITURE AND
SCRAP ITEMS DUE ON 15-05-2012.”
3.
Tender will be accepted upto 11.30 am on 15-05-2012 and will be opened at 11.40 am on the same
day.
4.
The Tender will be opened in the presence of bidders. No other person except the bidder will be
allowed to attend the Tender opening.
5.
The items can be inspected on all working days between 11.00 am to 3.00 p.m. upto 14-05-2012
after contacting the undersigned.
6.
The successful bidder should remit the amount quoted by him plus Tax applicable within 5 days after
the Tender is approved by the Director, CIFT, Cochin – 29 failing which the EMD will be forfeited.
7.
Tender without EMD will not be considered.
8.
The EMD except that of the highest 3 bidders will be returned as soon as the formalities are over.
9.
Unserviceable Equipments, Furniture and Scrap items will have to be dismantled / cleared from
Institute premises (without damage the property of CIFT) at his cost on the same day mentioned in the
confirmation letter which will be issued by the Institute. Loading disputes etc., if any, should be
settled by the bidder himself outside the Institute compound.
10. The Director, CIFT, Cochin – 29 reserves the right to accept or reject or to cancel the Tender/Tenders
without assigning any reason thereon. No disputes whatsoever will be entertained and decision of the
Director will be the final.
