Enzyme Lab
This is what you need for the enzyme lab:
I: Purpose: To determine if the enzyme, catalase, is present in different materials.
II: Hypothesis: Predict which materials (chalk, liver, spinach) will have catalase.
III: Materials and Procedure: List the materials used in lab. Then, describe the procedures (in
detail) of how you conducted the lab.
IV. Data/Results: Make a bar graph showing the level of reaction (bubbling) for each of the 3
materials. Then, provide qualitative and quantitative observation of the experiment.
V. Conclusion: Was your hypothesis wrong/right? Why? Describe your data. What did you
learn?
You also need to include these questions/answers:
This chemical equation may help: 2H2O2  H2O + 2O2
