Academic achievements :
1. I was among the research group who have introduced new and more
economical medium for the production of Black quarter vaccine. This
medium has considerably led to the reduction in the cost of the vaccine
production .
2. I was one of the researcher who produced for the first time the Antrax
vaccine locally. Moreover, the medium for this bacteria has been modified
to give improved vaccine production .

3. Established the properties of locally isolated strains of Clostridium
chauvoei (Kad strain) for future production of Black quarter vaccine .
4. Contributed significantly in the training of Veterinary Officers who
joined the Central Veterinary Research Laboratories (CVRL) .
5. Supervised many postgraduate students for Master and Ph.D.degrees
6. Successfully promoted the undergraduate student exchange between the
University of Khartoum Veterinary Student Association (VSA) on the one
hand and those in Cambridge, Liverpool, Surrey and Holland
Universities on the other hand .
7. Secretary of the editorial board for the proceedings of the International
Symposium on Development of Animal Resources and Production in the
Sudan which included 63 scientific papers covering different aspects of
health and production in cattle, sheep, goat and camels .
8. Investigation of health problem in Camel herds belong to his highnest
Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Saud. Central region. South Riyad Saudi

9. Investigation of abnormal feeding behavior of sheep flocks in North west

● Studies on the aetiology and Clinical pathology of mastitis in different farm
animals in Saudi Arabia, 3 years project. Sponsored by King Abdul Aziz City for
Science and Technology, Saudi Arabia.
●Two projects,one concerning skin disease of camel and the othe about
therapeutic properties of some of the medicinal plants(bothe are funded by the
College of Scientific Research,SUST.
