Mrs Tatyana Smirnova Submitted by SmirnovaTatyana@yandex.ru Tashkent, Uzbekistan presentation: UTILIZING THE DATA ON POLLLUTING SUBSTANCES ATMOSPHERIC POLLUTION FOR ATMOSPHERIC AIR POLLUTION CONTROL EMISSIONS AND presentation: Any human activity related to production and consumption is associated with utilization of natural resources and leads to environmental pollution. It is extremely important to get better understanding of the kernel of the existing environmental issues and the ways and means of their addressing. The main anthropogenic air polluters in the Tashkent province are sulfur, nitrogen and carbon oxides, solid particles of different composition and origin. The major sources of air pollution are the enterprises of heat power production, construction, mineral resources and chemical industries, transport and others. The goal of our systematic investigations in the region is an assessment of the local emission sources impact on the environment. As an object of investigation the Akhangaran valley was taken. This area is characterized by sharply continental climate, plenty of sunny days; high mean annual temperatures, complicated orography. Therefore, a strong local pollution source if available contributes significantly to precipitation pollution. It means that gas emissions, which are waste products, can be used as indicators of atmospheric air pollution. Polluting substances entering the atmosphere are washed out of it with atmospheric precipitation. Therefore, atmospheric precipitation can be also used as indicators of atmospheric air pollution for the atmospheric air pollution control. Preference: Poster Presentation
