School Age Intervention Services


Specialist school age therapy services are provided for eligible children from the time they commence year one schooling or are in full-time
placement at an education support school until the time they cease secondary education.
Children and families can only accept a comprehensive school age intervention place and receive services from one Disability Sector
Organisation.
Eligibility

Determination of eligibility for Specialist Disability Professional Services can be made by each of the service providers detailed above.

The Commission’s Eligibility Coordination Team is responsible for determining eligibility for disability specialist services on the basis of
intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorder.

