Summation of clinical experiences:
o Spent hours with Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in the hospitalist role and
became proficient in compiling and History & Physical, performing advanced
health assessments, and assisting in orders for inpatient admission and discharge
planning. Monitored progress of hospitalized patients daily and made
recommendations for changes in care.
o Performed newborn exams, well child checks as well as adult yearly
comprehensive physical exams. Clinical experience with both acute and chronic
disease management of pediatric and adult patients. Cared for patients with
upper respiratory infections, pneumonia, asthma, COPD, Diabetes, Urinary tract
infections, hypertension, dyslipidemia, ADHD, renal failure, liver failure, and
numerous other disease processes. Clinical experience in lab and diagnostic
ordering, interpretation, and interventions.
