BREEDING AGREEMENT for TRANSPORTED SEMEN
for Non-Purebred Arabian Mares

THE CONTRACT COVERS:
AM Michael Love, AHR #0543209, whose service fee is Nine Hundred Dollars and no/100
($900.00) for the following said NON-purebred Arabian mare.

Whereas, Stallion will stand at stud for the current breeding season. This period shall be defined
as the normal breeding season (hereinafter referred to as the .breeding season..) Any extension of
the breeding season for any Mare or for any reason shall be at the sole discretion of the Stallion
Manager.
FEES:
The Breeding Fee shall be payable as follows:
___ Option 1: The total breeding fee of $900 is payable upon signing of this contract includes
$200 non-refundable breeding fee and first collection/shipment. Additional collection/shipments
will be charged $250.
___ Option 2: The non-refundable breeding deposit of $200 is payable upon signing of this
contract, $700 due before shipment.
Stowe Arabians will ship semen on request; a 24-hour notice is preferred. The following fees
shall apply and are payable prior to shipment:
A $200 equitaner deposit must be paid prior to shipment. This fee/uncashed check will be
returned upon receipt of equitaner within 72 hours.
The Stallion Owner/Agent will sign the foal registration application after a veterinarian has
checked the mare safely in foal, providing all fees have been paid in full. If the mare fails to
produce a live foal (one that stands and suckles and survives 48 hours) as certified in writing by a
licensed veterinarian within one week of such determination and provided to Stowe Arabians
within ten days thereafter, Stowe Arabians will provide a rebreeding the following breeding
season providing:
1) The Failure of the Mare to produce a .live foal was not caused or contributed by any act or
omission of Mare Owner or any other person or entity.
2) The Mare during her pregnancy was vaccinated against rhinopneumonitis abortion.
3) The Mare Owner is not in breach of any obligation owed by Mare Owner, Stowe Arabians or
stallion owner.
4) A $300 rebreed fee will be charged plus any collection/shipping charges incurred.
5) Mare was confirmed in foal at 45-days gestation.
6) Rebreed request must be accompanied by a veterinarian.s certificate
The rebreeding is available only for the same mare or a substitute approved by Stowe Arabians. If
the stallion dies or becomes unfit for service before settling the mare, money paid on this contract
will be refunded, with the exception of the booking fee, board fees, and shipped semen fees.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT; JURISDICTION; ATTORNEY FEES:
STOWE ARABIANS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE BREEDING SERVICE TO ANY
MARE OWNER WHOSE MARE(S) ARE IN UNFIT BREEDING CONDITION. (Discretion to
be made by attending veterinarian).
This agreement contains the entire understanding of the parties concerning its subject matter. This
Agreement may only be modified in writing. Headings are for convenience only and are not a
part of this Agreement. The invalidity of or unenforceability of any term or provisions shall not
affect the validity or enforceability of the remainder. The Agreement shall be construed and
governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Stallion owner, or farm owner, or agents where the
stallion stands, shall not be liable for loss, damage, or injury to the mare, the foal by her side, or
the newborn foal. The mare owner assumes all risks of loss or damage to the mare or foal and will
insure against such loss at the Mare Owner’s discretion.
THE MARE OWNER HAS READ AND ACCEPTS ALL THE TERMS OF THIS
