For walkers who want more of a challenge, these walks range from 6 - 10 miles in length, are likely to be steep in
places and will be taken at a faster pace than GO50 walks - so you will need to be fit! If you are in any doubt about
your fitness, we strongly suggest that you try a GO50 walk first. Don’t forget to bring water and some food.
Thu 15th MAR : Winkworth Arboretum : 8½m From NT car park we make for Hascombe and ascend
Hascombe Hill. Continue via Wintershall Estate (home of theatrical productions The Life of Christ and The
Wintershall Nativity play) and return through the hamlet of Thorncombe Street, by public footpath through
