The Northern Ireland Tourist Board (NITB) has put together a list of 10 exciting things to do in Northern Ireland over the

The Snow Queen, Ranfurly House Arts & Visitor Centre, Dungannon, Co. Tyrone, various dates from December
6 – 19. The Snow Queen rules her magical kingdom with a heart of ice and a grip as cold as steel. She has a
chilling plan: to freeze the hearts of all living things and rule supreme over a world of snow and ice. However, a
little boy and girl, Gerda & Cei, believe they can change all this.

Newry on Ice and Winter Wonderland, Newry, Co. Down, December 7 – January 5. Join the fun at this year’s
winter wonderland with an ice rink, santa’s workshop, a drive-in cinema, crazy golf, a food village, a Ferris wheel
and an ice bar.

Christmas Markets, Guildhall Square, Co. Londonderry, December 10 – 21. Follow the enticing aromas of
delicious seasonal food and drink to the atmospheric Christmas Market, held beneath the city’s historic walls,
with live music, entertainment, dancing, a host of foodie treats and a wide range of unique gifts.

LegenDerry On Ice, Ebrington, Co. Londonderry, December 12 – January 19. A fantastic ice skating experience
for everyone to enjoy. Experience the magic of the Christmas season with your family and friends in the
enclosed marquee overlooking the Peace Bridge, suitable for all skating levels and ages.

Snowtubing with Santa, Craigavon Golf Ski Centre, Craigavon, Co. Armagh, December 16 - 22. Join the fun this
festive season and enjoy the exhilaration of snowtubing with Santa.

Eternally Scrooged, Theatre at the Mill, Newtownabbey, Co. Antrim, December 17 - January 5. Every year
somebody needs to learn a lesson and learn it good. Time is running out for Evangeline Scroogé, the romance
writer with a heart of stone. Not only is she bullying her secretary Bobbi Cratchit, she’s eating chocolates in
front of her and refusing to share – at Christmas.

The Linley Hamilton Jazz Trio, Ardhowen Theatre Gallery Bar, Co. Fermanagh, December 18. Linley Hamilton
has been a part of the Irish music scene for over twenty years and this Christmas Jazz show sees him joining
pianist Scott Flanigan and vocalist AJ Brown.

Armagh Lights Up For Christmas, Market House, Co. Armagh, December 19. An experience not to miss for
children and adults alike. Join us for a spectacular celebration and a truly unique experience as Armagh bursts
into life with a dramatic Christmas lightshow projected onto the building and set to festive music.

St Anne’s Cathedral Service of Thanksgiving, St Anne’s Cathedral, Belfast, December 19. The Linen Hall Library
invites you to join them for a special evening of music and readings as they wrap up their 225 year celebrations
in the stunning surrounds of St. Anne's Cathedral with a traditional carol service.

Winter Solstice, departs from Slieve Gullion Forest Drive top car park, Co. Armagh, December 19 – 22. There
will be a series of walks to the passage tomb at the summit of Slieve Gullion for walkers to witness the
spectacular event when the setting sun illuminates the passage chamber of the tomb.
