Title 16 CFR: section 1610.1c1 exempts all wool hats and other fabric from testing
16CFR 1610.1c2 exempts all gloves wool or other fabric
16CFR 1610.1c3 exempts all footwear wool or other fabric
16CFR section 1610.34 lining is exempt from testing
16CFR 1610.1d1,2 exempts all plain surface fabrics weighing 2.6 ounces per square yard or
more and all fabrics made of acrylic, nylon, polyester and wool.
All above wool items are exempt from testing. Outer layer of these items is all wool, lining is
polyester.
