Day 2 | Zagreb & Rijeka After a hearty breakfast, proceeds for a comprehensive city tour. We proudly present you the historical parts of Zagreb with the Stephen's Cathedral, the Old Town with the St. Mark's Church, the Sabor (seat of the Croatian Parliament) as well as the Old Academy. By afternoon we drive to Rijeka – a bustling port city. Enjoy the natural beauty and its cultural and historical sites during the city tour. Town Hall, Wassermann-Garbas Palace,Old gate and Roman arch, City Tower, Palace Wohinz, St. Vida’s Cathedral and the Governor's Palace are the main attractions which we cover. Day 3 | Rijeka Today we will go for an Istrian tour through the most important cities in the region. First we visit Pula, with its ancient Roman buildings such as the amphitheater or the Gate of Hercules with the old city wall. During a city stroll you see the preserved Roman road "Decumanum", the Venetian castle and the basilica Eufrasians from the 4th-6th Century (UNESCO World Heritage). In the afternoon we continue our tour to Pazin. Day 4 | Plitvice Lakes & Zadar Today you discover the National Park "Plitvice lakes". It consists of 16 blue-green and crystal clear lakes and a natural monument by UNESCO National Park is nestled in the impressive massif of Mala Kapela. Numerous cascades and waterfalls connect the lakes to a single large lake. Here you can take long walks. In the afternoon we continue onto Zadar. Day 5 | Zadar & Split We commence this day with a short tour through the coastal town of Zadar, whose historical center is home to ancient and early medieval monuments such as the Roman Fort or the pre-Romanesque round church of St. Donat from the 9th century. Before noon we continue our onward journey to the National Park Krka. Deep gorges in the limestone plateau, the river forms lakes and its magnificent waterfalls. Take a walk to the beautiful Krka waterfalls. Afterwards we enjoy a break at Sibenik, where you can admire the Jacobi Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. One of the most attractive sections is now before us. Unforgettable views of coves, peninsulas and islands accompany us on our journey along the Croatian Adriatic coast. We round of this day with an afternoon city tour in the historic city of Trogir (UNESCO World Heritage). Day 6 | Split & Dubrovnik In this precious coastal town Split we present you all the major attractions like the Cathedral of St. Dujmo, the old Croatian Trinity Church and the Diocletian Palace, one of the most important late Roman monuments in the country (UNESCO World Heritage). Then our journey leads back along the beautiful Adriatic coast with its picturesque islands and towards the water sloping mountain massifs. At noon we stop in Omis on the Cetina Gorge. In the afternoon we reach the best preserved medieval city in the Mediterranean - Dubrovnik. Enjoy the Mediterranean style and relax. Day 7 | Dubrovnik This morning you will experience the time between 13th and 16th centuries during an extensive city tour of Dubrovnik. The town hall with its towers is as well preserved as the old town with its winding streets (UNESCO World Heritage). The most famous buildings include the dvor Knezev, the Cathedral, the Sponza Palace and the Franciscan monastery and the castle Lovrjenac. The afternoon and evening are available for your own sightseeing at leisure. Day 8 | Dubrovnik – Departure Time to go back to home with beautiful memories of blissful beaches, coastlines and magical cities captured in your hearts and cameras.
