CATEGORY Qualifications & Training Clinical experience/ Knowledge JOB REQUIREMENTS: ESSENTIAL Psychodynamically or analytically trained, with recognised and validated post graduate psychotherapy qualification Minimum of four years training in clinical work Accreditation with UKCP, BPS, BPC and/or BACP Evidence of continuing professional development as recommended by the relevant professional body Experience of clinical work with clients who have been sexually and emotionally abused whilst they were children Experience of clinical work with Irish clients and an understanding of the “Irish dimension” of the clinical work undertaken by icap Knowledge of relevant legislation and its implications for clinical practice Good knowledge of a broad range of psychological therapies and an ability to articulate the value added by psychotherapy to a wide range of audiences JOB REQUIREMENTS: DESIRABLE Qualifications / training in modalities other than psychodynamic / analytic approaches Organisational / management experience Other skills, knowledge & abilities Experience of management in an organisational context.
