Job Descriptions:
A - Piping Design Engineer
1
Bachelor degree (or higher) in either of the following:
A) Piping design and pipe stress engineering function: mechanical engineering or equivalent.
B) Piping material engineer function: mechanical engineering, production engineering,
metallurgy/material engineering.
2
Experience in piping engineering design in the oil & gas, refineries, petrochemical, chemical and
related industries as follows:
A) > 8 years for senior position
B) > 2 years for junior position (will accept new graduates also)
3
Conversant with international codes and standards and engineering practices used in the industry –
ANSI/ASME codes.
4
Have working knowledge of autocad design procedures (is an advantage).
5
Have offshore platform design experience (is an advantage).
6
Have 3D modeling design software experience (PDMS, PDS & AUTOPLANT) (is an advantage).
7
Be a competent user of Caesar II software (is an advantage).

Be a competent user of material management software and material/corrosion study experience (is
an advantage).

Have Professional English ability.
B – Offshore Structural Design Engineer

Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.

Experience in steel structures design in Oil & Gas (Offshore Platforms), Refineries, Petrochemical,
Civil, Chemical and related industries, as follows:
a) > 8 years for senior positions
b) > 2 years for junior position (will also accept new graduates)

Conversant with international codes and standards – API, AISC & DNV
4
Competent user of structural analyses software – SACS, NX Nastran & GRLWEAP; ABAQUS or ANSYS
software experience (is an advantage).

Have Professional English ability.
C – Onshore Civil/Structural Design Engineer

Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.

related industries with Engineering Consultant or EPC/EPCM Contractor, as follows:
a) > 8 years for senior positions
b) > 2 years for junior positions (will also accept new graduates)

Conversant with Local and International Codes and Standards and Engineering Practices – API, BS,
EIT, IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA.

Experience in Power system study using software such as ETAP, CYME, SKM, etc (is an advantage).

Smart Plant Electrical (SPEL) software experience (is an advantage).

Have Professional English ability.
E – Instrumentation Design Engineer
1
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Industrial, Instruments, Chemical, Electrical and Electronic Engineering
or equivalent.

Experience in instrument engineering design in the Oil & Gas, Refineries, Petrochemical, Chemical
and related industries, as follows:
a) > 8 years for senior positions
b) > 2 years for junior positions (will also accept new graduates)

Conversant with International Codes and Standards and Engineering Practices used in the industry –
API, ASME & ISA etc.
4
Good engineering knowledge of DCS, ESD, process Instrumentation, custody metering analyzer and
functional safety in process plants.

Experience with Intools/Smart Plant Instrument is an advantage.

Experience with PDS (E-Raceway) and PDMS is an advantage.

Have Professional English ability.
F – Piping Designer

Bachelor/Diploma in Engineering

Experience in piping engineering design, offshore/onshore and design in 3D environment, as follows:
a) > 8 years for senior positions
b) > 2 years for junior positions (will also accept new graduates)

Possess basic knowledge of AutoCAD, PDS (3D), Microstation, MS Word, MS Excel, Smart Sketch

Have professional English ability.
G - Offshore/Onshore Civil/Structural Designer

Diploma (or higher) in Civil/Construction Engineering.

More than eight (8) years experience in Civil/Structural drafting and supervision in the field of Oil &
Gas (Offshore/Onshore), Refineries, Petrochemical and related industries.

Competent user of AutoCAD software application and good working knowledge of AutoCAD design
procedures (is an advantage).

3D modeling/ design software experience (PDMS & PDS) (is an advantage).

H – Project Engineer

Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Engineering

More than eight (8) years experience in Project Engineering or other project execution discipline.
