Terms & Conditions.
1. The rates should be quoted against each item as shown in the list in the same
chronological order along with specifications and supporting documents (technical
details and brochures etc.).
i) The quotations for Lab equipment for Dept. of Physics and Dept. of Chemical Sc.
should be given separately, preferably with separate cover.
2. Quotations should be accompanied byi. A call deposit (earnest money) amounting to Rs. 5,000/- pledge in favour of
the Registrar, Tezpur University, payable at Tezpur.
ii. A Demand Draft of Rs.100/- as tender fee (the amount should not be
clubbed along with the call deposit) in favour of the Registrar, payable at
Tezpur
(There is no need to give separate earnest money for each Department)
3. The rates should be exclusive of taxes and applicable tax % should be clearly
indicated.
4. At least one year warranty for all equipment should be provided.
5. 10 % bank guarantee to be provided for all order value exceed Rs. 1 lakh (if insisted for).
6. AMC charge (in % of purchase value) must be specified for post warranty
maintenance.
7. Income tax return for last two years and current sales tax clearance certificate should
be provided along with the bid documents
8. The University is exempted from Custom & Excise duty.
9. Terms and Conditions of supply should be clearly indicated in the quotations.
10. The supplier should be in a position to deliver the ordered items within the stipulated
time mentioned in the supply order.
11. Items must be delivered at Napaam campus of the University at the cost of the
supplier.
12. The rates should be valid at least for a period of one year.
13. The University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the quotations without
assigning any reason.
14. Applications should be forwarded to the Registrar for release of call deposit against
unaccepted quotations.
15. No separate tender paper will be issued from the office; one should only download
the specifications form the web site.
