3.03 DEVICE INSTALLATION

Switch Installation:
1. Install switches in recessed boxes or on surface-mounted plates as indicated on Drawings.

2. Install matching, non-metallic cover plates as specified in [Section 26 27 26 “Wiring Devices.”]

Sensor Installation:

2. Occupancy Sensors: Attach sensor to wall or ceiling as indicated on Drawings.

Gateway System Installation:
1. Link peripheral devices to gateway/controller.
2. Connect gateway/controller to building automation system.

3.04 FIELD QUALITY CONTROL

Operational Tests: Ensure that each component operates properly.
1. Verify radio frequency strengths at installed locations of devices.

Test actuators to ensure operations comply with manufacturer’s stated ranges.

Components will be considered defective if they do not pass tests.
C.
Prepare test report.
3.05 ADJUSTING
A.
