FOR PROFESSIONALS WITH 3 OR MORE YEARS OF WORKING EXPERIENCE AT SUPERVISORY OR MIDTOP LEVEL MANAGEMENT POSITION AND TEACHERS
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces that the Government of China has invited professional Bahamian
nationals to submit applications to become 2015 recipients of fully funded Master’s and PHD scholarships to study
any major at 29 top universities in China for a period of 2 or more years. Applicants can opt to study in
English or Mandarin.
APPLICATION CRITERIA & ELIGIBILITY:




Open to all Bahamian Nationals
In Good Health
Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above
Under 45 years old

SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS:


Full scholarships inclusive of: tuition, room and board, meals, medical insurance and textbooks
Roundtrip economy-class tickets to China and from China (upon graduation)

APPLICATION DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED:

Copy of completed online application form
Copy of relevant passport pages
Copy of US visitors/transit visa (if available. If not, secure visa by first week in August 2015)
4 passport photos
Research plan/thesis (1,500 words or more)
Physical examination (see attached form to be submitted along with lab results by mid June, 2015)
Three (3) letters of recommendation (teachers/lecturers/employers)
Copy of last university diploma
Official transcript mailed/expressed directly from university (copy of official transcript in the first instance)
Resume
Applicants for music studies and fine arts must submit a CD of their own work. Fine arts submission
should include two (2) sketches, two (2) color paintings and two (2) other works
