Cardiff Centre for Lifelong Learning MEMBERSHIP CLUB TERMS AND CONDITIONS The Membership Club was launched in Summer 2008 and is continuing as another 12 month trial scheme ending in July 2011. To quality for the scheme this year students will need to have enrolled for a course in 2009-10 and then have submitted a new enrolment form for a course in 2010-11. The Centre reserves the right to refuse membership. On receipt of a completed enrolment form from an eligible student, the Student Services team will process the student’s request for membership and will issue a Members Pack which includes a member’s identification card and number. The pack will also contain details that will inform members of the offers available. Members will not be entitled to any such offers before receiving their membership card and number. Members Offers: Offer One – Discounts on Accredited Courses. This offer is presented to promote achievement by encouraging the completion of a whole accredited course (including assessment) from the 2010-11 Choices programme. Once the accredited course has been completed and the Academic Board has approved the final marks, then the Member will be issued with a 10% discount voucher off a future accredited course. Only one voucher can be redeemed per course. These vouchers are not to be used in conjunction with any other offer (except the Centre’s reduced fee scheme) and each voucher will be unique to the member and can only be used by the member within a pre-determined period (as indicated on the voucher). To qualify for the discount, the voucher should be presented with a future enrolment form and the appropriate fee. The voucher has no transferable value. Offer Two – Recommend a Friend. By recommending a friend to the Centre, both the member AND the friend will be eligible for a 10% reduction in course fees. The friend must not have studied at the Centre during the previous three years. Members will receive a ‘Recommend a Friend’ form in the Members Pack. This form should be completed by the Member and friend and submitted with the friend’s enrolment form for any accredited course. On receipt of the friend’s enrolment form, the friend will be entitled to an immediate 10% reduction off the full fee for the course and, once processed, the Member will be sent a 10% discount voucher that can be used against a future enrolment on an accredited course. The Member’s voucher is not to be used in conjunction with any other offer (except the Centre’s reduced fee scheme) and each voucher will be unique to the Member and can only be used by the Member within a predetermined period (as indicated on the voucher). To qualify for the discount, the voucher should be presented with a future enrolment form and the appropriate fee. The voucher has no transferable value and can only be redeemed until 30th June 2011. Offer Three – Bonus Course Discounts. From time to time the Centre will send Members further information of reductions on selected courses which could be as much as 30% of the fees. On each occasion a promotional code will be allocated and Members will be given details of how to enrol for each promotional course. On each occasion Members will be required to present the promotional code and their Membership number to qualify for the discount. The Member’s discount is not to be used in conjunction with any other offer (except the Centre’s reduced fee scheme). If the course is cancelled or postponed the discount is not transferable.
