NOTICE OF MEETING
Europe 2020 Steering Committee
Mr Stefano Palmieri, president of the Europe 2020 Steering Committee, invites you to attend the
Committee's 19th meeting, to be held at the EESC building, Brussels, on 24 September 2014, from
9.30 a.m. until 5.30 p.m. in room JDE 51.
The draft agenda is as follows:

Adoption of the draft agenda
2.
Adoption of the minutes of the 18th Steering Committee meeting held on 12 June 2014
3.
Welcome address by Mr Stefano Palmieri, Steering Committee president
4.
Presentation of the Europe 2020 related priorities of the Italian Presidency of the Council of
the European Union by Mr Marco Peronaci, Ambassador, Deputy Permanent Representative
of the Italian Republic to the EU (tbc)

5.
General debate and exchange of views with representatives of national ESCs/similar
organisations.
Presentation of the report on the Mid-term review of the Europe 2020 Strategy by Mr Stefano
Palmieri, Mr Etele Baráth and Mr Gonçalo Lobo Xavier, assisted by Mr Marco Celi expert


A buffet lunch will be offered at the Atrium 6 (JDE building 6th floor) between 1 and 2.15 p.m.
