From motorway (M56) to the A55 Follow the signposts for Queensferry & North Wales. At Queensferry the A55 merges in on the left. Follow signs towards Conwy. From Wrexham area (A5/A483) to the A55 Follow A483 toward Chester. You will come to a major roundabout joining to the A55 follow signs toward Conwy. From Bangor area to A55 Follow the A55, signposted for Conwy. From joining the A55 in all directions to the Hospital Remain on the A55. The Hospital is signposted with official Red logo - signifying an A&E equipped hospital. A brown Tourist Board sign for Bodelwyddan Castle forms an additional landmark. Follow the Hospital sign as above. Continue past Glan Clwyd Hospital main entrance to the Cancer Treatment Centre at the next left. By public transport Alphaline, First North Western and Virgin’s West Coast Trains, routes are contained in the All Line Timetable, serve Rhyl station via Chester or Bangor. Arriva Cymru Bus routes serve the hospital and depart from Bay 2 outside the railway station with a journey time of 15 minutes. A reduced, approximately hourly service operates in the evenings, whilst on Sundays and public holidays the service is at two-hourly intervals. Alternatively, the station taxi normally has a number of licensed taxis waiting. Return taxis are frequently available from the hospital, telephone numbers being available in directories such as Yellow Pages.
