***SPECIAL MENTION. I was watching the golf live from Durban on Sky television on
Saturday and Sunday, they had not play at all on Thursday and Friday because of heavy
rain and electrical storms. The commentator stated that they had already had one year’s
rain in the last month. A few weeks ago in Johannesburg they had hailstones as big as golf
balls which caused a lot of damage to cars, homes and it was reported that even the planes
that were parked at OR Tambo Johannesburg Airport had hailstones go through the
fuselarge of some planes. This just goes to show what these gallant pigeons have to put up
with during their training and racing.
