Canterbury District Basketball Tournament 2010 – Teams entered & Events Format. Year 8’s / U13’s @ Canterbury High, 3.30-5.00pm, 1st February 2010. The top East Kent Coastal & Herne Bay SSP and Canterbury SSP* teams will go to the North East Kent play offs at Herne Bay High School on the 25th February 2010, 4-6pm Teams entered: Group 1 1. Barton Court 4. Archbishops 5. Canterbury High School Tournament Format: The principle of a round robin format or appropriately sized pools leading to a knockout in the later stages will be followed. All games will be run in accordance with England Basketball Rules. Match Length: Recommended, all games will be a 5min stop clock or a time agreed by schools attending. * At the end of the tournament if the top 2 schools are from the same partnerships the highest average number of games won, before the knock out stages, will decide second place. If average number of games won is equal then point’s average, before the knock out stages, per game will take second place Year 9’s / U14’s @ Canterbury High School 4.00-6.00, 4th February 2010.
