Taxonomic Working Inventory Group (TWiG) Application
The fundamental work of an All Taxa Biodiversity Inventory is done by Taxonomic Working Groups, or TWiGs.
Each is organized around a specific taxonomic or biological group of organisms. A TWiG can be led by an
individual, or several collaborating researchers. However, the leader(s) should be an expert(s) in the
specified group, or a subgroup, that is being inventoried. TWiGs, and leaders, will be designated by the
Science Committee and approved by the Executive Council of the Thicket of Diversity.
Application for the formation of a TWIG should be made to the Science Committee as a separate proposal,
or in conjunction with a proposal for funding submitted to the Committee in response to a Request for
Proposal from the Thicket of Diversity. If you are interested in forming a TWiG, please complete this form
and provide the requested documentation as indicated below.
