If you’re looking for an easy way to stay in touch with your University year group,
expand your network of contacts and access exclusive benefits, the your.bham
website has it all. Read more…
Anyone who has studied at the University of Birmingham can join our online alumni
community, which features everything from information about groups and societies to a
vacancies board where you can find and post jobs. Share news about what you have done
since graduating in the Your News section and read about a range of travel, social and
accommodation benefits available to alumni.
Many of our former students are sad to lose their Birmingham email address when they
graduate. At your.bham you can sign up for an email forwarding address, which is a great
way to stay in touch with friends from University days. When you join your.bham, you will
automatically receive Birmingham Bite-size, our monthly e-newsletter packed with the
latest news, events and information from your University.

The Facebook group has more than 3,000 members and is particularly popular with our
younger alumni. You can use the group to keep in touch with friends, track down people
you've lost touch with, find out all the latest news and access benefits including discounted
event tickets. The latest pictures and videos from campus and our alumni events can
always be found on the messageboard.

Networking is the focus of our LinkedIn group for alumni and friends of the University,
which has attracted almost 3,000 members so far. Why not join and expand your circle of

From Scotland to Malaysia, there are groups for Birmingham alumni worldwide and you
can use your.bham to find out about the group in your country and get details of its news
and events.
As well as geographical chapters, the University has alumni groups and societies for
schools, departments and different interests. Details of these are also included on the
website.
