Key Duties & Responsibilities

raw material, utility, in process, release and stability testing of biotechnology products.
 Performed routine and non-routine biochemical/chemical and/or microbiological testing activities.
 Ensured that all testing is completed, reviewed and approved within agreed turnaround times.
 Ensured QC activities are carried out in compliance with product license commitments, cGMP and
company quality standards.











Pre-production audits and bio trace swabbing of machinery.
Swabbing hands of personnel working in production as necessary.
Positive release checking of all products being produced by carrying out the various QC checks on
each product.
Checking of raw materials when delivered to ensure they are in compliance with company
requirements and specification, ensuring a certificate of conformance accompanies each delivery.
Shelf life tasting, cooking and tasting all product on production day and use by day to ensure that
they still taste ok.
Checks on X-ray machine and checking metal detector as required.
Checking temperature of all fridges/freezers and prep areas as required.
Reporting non conformances noted and carrying out corrective action.
Ensuring cleaning is correctly carried out and records are completed.
Checking visitors to the site are completing questionnaires.
