FACULTY OF EDUCATION
International Successful School Leadership Conference
May 31 - June 3, 2015
Dear ISSPP Colleague,
We are pleased to invite you, as a researcher / school leader affiliated with the International
Successful School Principals Project (ISSPP), to attend and participate in this international
conference. The conference will focus on national and international research on case studies of
successful schools and successful leadership developed by scholars in the ISSPP project.
The conference is being organized by a consortium of Spanish research teams participants in
the ISSPP network and hosted by the Faculty of Education, Universidad de Sevilla. As you can
see in the attached Conference program, in addition to the regular conference activities, there
will be opportunities to visit Seville area schools on Tuesday, June 2nd.
A small registration fee of euro 100 will be charged to help defray conference costs (breaks and
lunch catering, transportation to and from the schools, welcome dinner, etc). Conference
participants will also be responsible for all travel, evening meals, and accommodation. Housing
can be reserved at the conference rate in two different hotels (see below). Both of them are at
walking distance (2-8 minutes) from the Conference venue. Please contact Nina Hidalgo
(nina.hidalgo@uam.es) for further details about the conference program and arrangements.
This conference follows the highly successful international meetings of the ISSPP held in
Nottingham, Boston and Umeå. It will provide a unique opportunity to share and debate the
international research findings of this project about successful school principalship with
colleagues from around the world.
We look forward to seeing you in Seville.
