Objective 2: Describe Kentucky’s response to the physical, health, and mental health need of Hurricane Katrina victims Objective 3: Describe the early stage of disaster intervention and the issues that mental health professionals will encounter in working with disaster victims. Objective2: To learn about individual and event specific risk and protective factors that shape children’s psychological responses to disasters.
