Client references may be used in the award consideration. 4.5 Fair Price Analysis: Purchases made under this contract may require further fair price analysis if only one bidder responds. Bidders should identify on the Bidder Response Sheet the type of documentation they will provide (i.e. published price list, list of previous buyers, etc.) to allow the University to complete this analysis. The awarded Bidder will be required to provide this documentation prior to the order being issued. 4.6 Minimum Order/Volume Discounts: Volume discounts will not be considered when determining the award of bid. However, they shall apply to orders issued against this contract if the Contractor offers volume discounting in their bid. AMENDMENT #1 QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS FOR 13-5005 (RECYCLED RECORD STORAGE CARTONS AND ANIMAL DISPOSAL BOXES) Q1 Can I get a sample of each of the three items, I just want to be sure we are quoting the same material. On page 18 item #1 it shows ECT 44 and on the quote sheet page 21 it is showing Mullen 275 test. Item # 2 shows C flute on page 18 and B-flute on page 21. A1 Bidders should contact MDS at 608/497-4432 for samples of current items. See changes to Stock for Items 1, 2, and 3 on pages 18 and to Descriptions for Items 1, 2 and 3 on pages 21 and 22. Q2 Regarding item Lot 1, Item Number 2: How many out is the cutting die built for? (Bid states there is existing rotary cutting die-what is the #out on the die?) A2 The die is a one (1) out rotary cutting die. Q3 Regarding item Lot 1, Item Number 2: Annual usage is 500 for this item-what is the minimum quantity that would be released at a time? A3 Orders for 3220 are based on customer need. We do not stock this item and therefore are unable to anticipate the quantity per order.
