(2) Clean loads of scrap metal are directed to the Brown’s salvage yard. Waste management is not required to handle this material. Clean loads of manufactured wood waste, brush, trees and tree trimmings must be processed by Waste Management. (3) Construction & Demolition (C&D) includes wood, glass, carpet, carpet padding, wallboard, wire, plastics, fabric, fixtures, rocks, gravel, asphalt, stone, cultured stone, composite material, etc. (4) Mixed Construction & Demolition (C&D) includes the items from Construction & Demolition mixed with un-seperated concrete or wood that can be separated and chipped. (5) Chip-able wood means wood that measures less than 6” in diameter, which includes 2x4’s and 2x6’s. (6) Furnishings: include all commercial, restaurant, hotels, hospitals, governmental entities, public utilities, schools, residential, etc., all interior exterior household furnishings, bed frames, tables, sofas, recliners, cabinets, chairs, lamps, desks, dressers, mattresses, restaurant equipment and furnishings, retail store fixtures, displays and furniture. (7) Furnishings: from Thrift Shops and other non-profit organizations that regularly accept furniture, clothing and other household items. (8) Electronic Waste: includes Cathode Ray Tube Appliances (laptops, monitors, televisions). (9) Universal Waste: includes florescent lights & mercury containing switches. (10) Special Handling items: includes alcoholic beverages in bulk, legal and/or financial documents, treated medical waste, any item requiring special disposal accommodations and / or requires assistance in removal from the hauling vehicle. (11) Mixed debris load: means green waste, and /or commercial and household waste that has been mixed with recyclable materials in such a manner that the recyclable material cannot be easily separated and dropped off at the designated recyclable areas within the landfill and the entire mixed load must be disposed of at the active trash or C&D cell. (12) Contaminated Soil: includes soil containing gasoline, diesel fuel, and/or related constituents-Must be approved by Inyo County Environmental Health. (13) Recyclable material, no gate or disposal fee when dropping off only recyclable material at the landfill or transfer station, including, but not limited to, cardboard, glass, plastic, aluminum cans & bottles, e-waste, u-waste, newspaper, HHW, used oil, oil filters, metal, white goods.
