CHECKLIST FOR RETURN OF MEMBERSHIP FORMS
1. The person applying for Membership of the Society must have their own
IE number (yellow tag number).
2. Please complete and return the Membership Form and the ICBF/CMMS
Form.
3. Please enclose cheque for Membership fees (€127.00) and transfer fee for
female (€38.00) where applicable (see point 4 below).
4. To become a member of the Society you must have at least one pedigree
female officially transferred by the office into your name. If your name is
printed as the owner on the pedigree certificate, then the animal is already
in your name, if not, a transfer fee of €38 applies for each female.

application forms
5. All pedigree calves born in 2013 have to be notified to Breed Societies via
the ICBF Animal Events Recording Book. This book will be issued to you
by ICBF approx. 2/3 weeks after we receive your Membership application.
Do not send any fees with your Animal Events Sheet. We will invoice you
for registration fees and as soon as this fee is paid we will then issue the
certificate.
All calves must be registered within 2 week of birth.
6. For all Male Calves born in 2013, a DNA sample is required before issuing
a pedigree certificate. A kit will automatically be issued to you when you
register your calf with ICBF.
7. All stock bulls must have a DNA profile on record before calves can be
registered.
8. The registration fee for calves born in 2013 is €50 if paid by cheque.
Members paying fees by Direct Debit pay €40 per calf.
