NOTICE OF WORKSHOP TO SOLICIT COMMENTS ON
PROPOSED REGULATION
The Board of Examiners for Marriage and Family Therapists and Clinical Professional
Counselors (the “Board”) is proposing the adoption and/or amendment of regulations
pertaining to Chapter 641A of the Nevada Administrative Code.
Workshops will be held at the following locations at the dates and times indicated:

The purpose of the workshops is to receive comments from all interested persons on the
following general topics that may be addressed in the regulations:





Procedures for Supervisor/Intern Termination of Internship (NEW)
Academic Requirements (NAC 641A.085)
Administrative Termination and Reapplication of Internship (NAC 641A.046)
Supervisor’s Requirements (NAC 641A.182)
Code of Ethics (NAC 641A.252)
A copy of all material relating to the workshop may be obtained at the workshop, by
accessing the Board’s website at http://marriage.state.nv.us, or by contacting the Board at
P.O. Box 370130, Las Vegas, Nevada 89134, (702) 486-7388. A reasonable fee for
copying may be charged.
NOTE: Items may be taken out of order.
NOTE: Items may be pulled or removed from the agenda at any time.

NOTE: Public comment may be limited to ten minutes per person at the discretion of the
chairperson.
NOTE: Prior to the commencement and conclusion of a contested case or a quasi-judicial
proceeding that may affect the due process rights of an individual, the SEC may refuse to
consider public comment. See NRS 233B.126.
NOTE: Members of the public who are disabled and require special accommodations or
assistance at the workshop must notify the Board in writing at P.O. Box 370130, Las
Vegas, Nevada 89137, no later than five (5) working days prior to the workshop you plan
to attend.
