6th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF GREEK LINGUISTICS
FOR THE PARTICIPANTS-WRITERS
Dear colleagues,
The organizing committee of the 6th International Conference of Greek Linguistics is
grateful for your participation and your contribution.
The Conference will be completed with the electronic distribution of the proceedings
(production and distribution) which is undertaken by the Linguistic Laboratory of the
University of Crete.
The texts for the proceedings must be sent till the 21st November 2003 (postal
stamp).
The writers will follow the guidelines below:
1) The text will be sent in two copies, one printed and one in a floppy disc (Word
Windows ’97 or later edition). The author’s name and the program used for the
typing should be written on the label of the floppy disc and posted to the
following address:

2) The text should not exceed the 4.500 words including the footnotes and the
references. Please use Unicode for symbols.
Page size: A4
Font: Times New Roman 12pt
Margins: Upper: 2,5 cm, Down: 3,5 cm, Right: 3 cm, Left: 3 cm
Line-spacing: 1,5
3) The footnotes and the references should be at the end of the text, 10 pt,
according to the model of the Journal of Greek Linguistics (see appendix –
references)
4) If any special font is used (i.e Polytonic, Phonetic, Cyrillic etc), it should be sent
electronically and on the floppy disc as well .
5) Please include a summary (about 150 words) written in Greek, if the text is in
English, and in English, if the text is in Greek.
6) Key words should be written under the summary.
7) The title and the author’s name should be centered and bold. Between the title
and the author’s name there must be two blank lines. Between the author’s name
and the affiliation (bold) there shouldn’t be any space left. Between the
affiliation and the text there should be two blank lines.
Please note:
The paper shouldn’t have been published anywhere else before.
