WIREWRAP PENDANT By Lorinda Niemi Cost: $50 + SUPPLIES
Description: In this 4-hour class, Design & build a pendant frame for a stone cabochon
using square & half round wire. Create a seamless framework without glue or soldering with
this unique decorative accent.

Introduction to Beaded Jewelry- $18.00 plus kit (Kits $7 and up)
This class is a must for your beading endeavors. Topics that will be covered include basic design, choosing the correct
cord for your projects; basic tools, findings (Crimps, jump rings, memory wire, leather & earring findings). Students will
make a bracelet.

Professional Wire Wrapping $18 plus supplies
Wire wrapping is used to secure a clasp or jump ring to your project, or add charms to a bracelet, add
beads to chain and to make secure professional looking earrings. This class is your second “must have”
class in your beading endeavors. This is your springboard into half of the projects you will make in the
future. Class project: Wire wrapping beads onto chain to make a necklace or bracelet. Students may select
from base metal, Sterling or 14K Gold Filled chain and findings.

PEYOTE STITCH Bracelet- $24 plus supplies
Peyote stitch is a pattern used to weave beads together using a needle and thread. Flat peyote patterns are a favorite
of both beginner and experienced beaders for the beautiful designs and colors used in them. Peyote beading is
considered to be a form of quiet, mindful meditation for many beaders throughout the world. The stitch will be
perfected during class with confidence to complete your bracelet at home.

TILA CUFF Bracelet: $18 plus supplies
You will learn how to create a three-row cuff bracelet out of the Tila two-holed flat beads. The beads are woven inbetween leather and fastened with a button. This creates a very lightweight cuff that is easy to make and fun to wear.

ARTFUL RESIN – With guest instructor Karen Trimble Shell
Cost $50 includes all supplies.
In this three- hour workshop taught by jewelry designer and award winner Karen Trimble-Shell, you will design and create TWO of
your own colorful pendants! Select from a wide variety of artisan papers and images, cut and collage your own masterpieces. You'll
then encase your artworks in silver settings using two-part epoxy resin. Learn the secrets to working with this fun and exciting
medium!

Hand Knotting: $18 plus supplies
Learn the timeless technique used to space and protect your precious gems and pearls. Students will learn to
make consistent knots while working on your pearl or gemstone bracelet; and then finish that bracelet using
clamshell closures.

Bronze Clay Creations

BRONZclay is a non-toxic metal clay product used to create one-of-a kind decorative pieces. It can be
pinched, rolled, sculpted and manipulated then fires in a kiln using a special firing procedure.
Use your imagination to experiment with this product because just about anything can be sculpted,
formed and molded.

FRESHWATER PEARLS ON LEATHER $18 plus supplies
Learn to knot pearls onto several strands of leather for this popular bracelet. Add a button clasp for a great
look! Select Large hole pearls, 8 MM crystals or large hole gemstones.

Riveting onto Leather and Metal

Leather Riveting is a stylish way to create cold connections in jewelry designs without soldering. Make a
flat leather riveted bracelet and/or stack metal pieces together for a “steampunk” look! Many styles and
ideas to choose from.
Tuesday June 9 (6-8 PM)
PARTY BRACELET
$24 plus supplies
You will learn to weave a core of seed beads and thicken the bracelet with shining crystal, glass, or
gemstones. This makes a stunning evening out piece of jewelry. Students will start this project but will
not finish bracelet in class.

CAMP JEWELRY
ONE WEEK CAMP DAILY 2:00 – 3:30 PM
OFFERED IN JUNE, JULY AND AUGUST
$85.00 (5-days-8 hours. All supplies included for 8-10 projects)
5-conecutive days at summer camp jewelry learning to make your own beautiful beaded necklaces,
earrings, and bracelets. Beading and jewelry making is a great craft for anyone of any age
because it's an easy and. fun. You will learn techniques of crimping on wire and leather, wire
looping to make earrings, use of stretchy cord, jump rings and chain, metal stamping and riveting
and more. After camp, you are all set to create your own handmade jewelry. Everyone loves a
handcrafted piece of jewelry to wear or share?
Your instructor will start by explaining the most common beading tools, cord, findings and basic
design techniques.
Projects:
Make 3- pairs of earring on a headpin with different ear wires.
Make a Beaded bracelet on wire using crimp beads for closure.
Add chain to your bracelet making it adjustable and finish with decorative wire wrap drop.
Make two-three stackable stretchy cord bracelets
Make a single strand leather necklace adding a charm and attaching a metal closure.
Weave beads onto leather and make a single wrap-around leather bracelet with a button clasp.
Stamp initials onto metal and rivet onto flat leather for your personalized bracelet.
Make a Metal Cuff Bracelet Stamped with name or quote.
Camp Jewelry is 5-consecutive days offered each month.
