AUTHORIZING A MONUMENT IN PHILADELPHIA Act of Jul. 31, 1941, P.L. 653, No. 269 AN ACT Authorizing the Department of Military Affairs of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to arrange for the design and permanent display in the County of Philadelphia of a plaque or monument in memory of the Honorable Theodore Rosen, and making an appropriation. The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania hereby enacts as follows: Section 1. The Department of Military Affairs of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is hereby empowered and authorized to arrange for the design and permanent display in the City and County of Philadelphia on public grounds of a suitable plaque or memorial to the memory of the late Honorable Theodore Rosen. The Department of Military Affairs shall have the power to enter into any and all contracts deemed necessary to carry into effect the provisions of this act. Section 2. The sum of two thousand dollars ($2,000), or so much thereof as shall be necessary, is hereby specifically appropriated to the Department of Military Affairs to be used to carry into effect the provisions of this act.
