Position Title
RADIOLOGIST / NUCLEAR MEDICINC PHYSICIAN
Key Requirements
SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE
 Australian recognized specialist medical qualifications in radiology and nuclear
medicine/PET.
 Ability to practice excellent quality radiology and nuclear medicine
 Broad radiology abilities including x-ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, basic MRI,
nuclear medicine, PET/CT and commonly performed radiological procedures and
interventions
 Commitment to efficient and effective medical imaging services
 Excellent communicator
 Commitment to working in the Geelong region
Qualifications and Experience –
ESSENTIAL:
 Basic medical qualifications registrable in the Australia (Australian Health
Practitioners Regulation Agency - APHRA http://www.ahpra.gov.au/ medical
registration)
 specialist qualification in Radiology recognized in Australia (FRANZCR) and
specialist qualification in nuclear medicine and PET/CT recognised by the
National Specialist Qualifications Advisory Committee. Appropriate experience in
Radiology and nuclear medicine including PET/CT.
DESIREABLE:
 Sound general knowledge and ability in radiology and nuclear medicine. Good
interpersonal skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
