Implement multiple energy-environmental audits for various energy
consuming sectors/facilities throughout Egypt. Also, conduct energy
consumption pattern studies in several governorates.
Key responsibilities:




Data collection for all parameters related to energy consumption as well as
production levels of the facility under estimation.
Measure parameters related to evaluation of performance of main
energy consuming equipment of the facility under estimation.
Use computer software packages to analyze measured parameters
together with previously collected data. Objective is to identify actual
energy consumption criteria & production level situation of the facility
under consideration.
Produce technical reports presenting results and recommendations to
be offered for the facility personnel as guidelines for their following
operation phases.

Complex in Cairo, Egypt.

Responsible for maintaining & securing the proper operation of the
following:
Integrated central air-conditioning system serving a 20 story office
building, central air-conditioning for a 250 shops shopping mall, central
air-conditioning system serving a 32 story apartment tower.
Integrated Electric Networking including; high/low tension power panels,
& step-down transformers, & stand-by generators complete with their
auto-transfer switching system and their solar pumping units.
Potable Water Boosting Pumping Station complete with its piping
network, Sewage Water Pumping Station (submersible pumps), &
integrated Fire-Fighting Pumping Station complete with piping network
and flow controls.
Integrated fire alarm and smoke detecting network, Integrated Plumping
Network that serves the entire complex, health club service equipment
including air conditioning, and hot water/steam supply, swimming pool
with all its peripherals, including water pumping station, backwashing
system, water treating components, and electric water heating system &
water fountain with its pumping station and chemical treating plant.

Installation Engineer,
Al-Ahramat Electro-Mechanical Contractor, Cairo, Egypt.
Responsible for the installation, erection, and putting into operation of the
following central air-conditioning systems at one of the biggest
merchandizing stores in Cairo;
Liquid Chillers, cooling towers, chilled &condenser water pumps, air
handling and fan coil units, complete piping network (chilled &condenser),

complete sheet-metal duct works, and valves, fittings, hanging, and all the
related accessories.
1989 – 1990
Supervisor Engineer – Project Department of the Armed Forces
Responsible for the installation, erection, and putting into operation of all
mechanical systems for one of the biggest civilian hospitals in the MiddleEast (300 Beds). The systems included:
- Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Integrated
system.
- Potable, Drainage, Fire-Fighting Pumping Network.
- Generating Sets Stand-by Units.
- Integrated Kitchen Equipment.
- Complete Laundry Equipment.
