REGISTRATION GUIDELINES
These are the guidelines that have been established for the Eastern Region Winterfest 2007 / Loon
Mountain, Lincoln, NH registration.
This year’s adult registration fee has been established at $75. For ages 65 and over registration is
free. The Youth Activity fee (Registration) is $25.
BONUS DATES:
If your club registers prior to January 15, 2007, you may register for $55 per person.
If you miss that deadline, you may still save by registering prior to March 10, 2007 and pay only $65
per person. After that date all adult registration is full price.
[Please note these dates are POSTMARK dates.]

All registration fees are non-refundable.

For Registration purposes, anyone eighteen (18) or older is considered an adult.

IMPORTANT!!! Any adult securing lodging through your club is REQUIRED to register. The
lodging list from the mountain and registration list will be compared.

Full price registration ($75 per person) is required after March 10, 2007 (to be paid on-site).

On-Site Registration is to be paid in CASH, MONEY ORDER or CLUB CHECK only.



When ordering T-shirts, be sure to include the number of youth and adults on your registration
form (pending sponsorships).
Pending sponsorships any and all commemorative items will be subject to availability for all on-site
registrations.
Use only enclosed forms or copies of the enclosed forms.
The enclosed Club Individual Registration List, which is to include the names of those registering,
is to be postmarked on or before March 10, 2007.


A trip leader Personal Identification Number (PIN), a four-digit code of your choosing, is required
on each registration form as a security measure.
Only NBS member clubs are eligible to register for Winterfest. Probationary or Developmental
Clubs will register through a full member club.

REGISTRATION PROCESS:

Arrive at Loon Mountain, Lincoln, NH

Registration to be held in The Mountain Club on Loon lobby.

Individual Registration, by last name; 4 stations [A-E, F-K, L-Q, R-Z]; no trip leader will be
allowed to pick up group registration materials unless pre-arranged through the Registration Chairperson (Wanda Williams-Nunnally)

Show Photo ID, sign the Registration Book and Receive Registration Packet, and Lift Tickets

If applicable, proceed to the Youth registration area to sign in and pick up youth materials

On-site Registration Station & Problem / Trouble Desk / Special Services Table on premises


Saturday, Contact Registration Chair on the mountain!!!

Wristbands will be put on registrants immediately at the Registration Desk, and are to be worn

GENERAL PARTICIPANT REGISTRATION
LIABILITY WAIVER FORM
I,
______
(Name of Releaser), hereby acknowledge that I have voluntarily
applied to participate in activities or events which are sponsored, authorized or run by the National Brotherhood of Skiers,
Inc. , hereinafter referred to as "NBS". These events and activities may include but are not limited to the following: snow
skiing, ski training or instruction, ice -skating, sledding, parties, social events or functions, dinners, games, sports and
recreational activities, raffles, fund-raising activities, promotional activities, gatherings, dances, meetings and all activities and
functions of any kind or manner which are sponsored, operated, managed or promoted by the NBS.
1.
I am aware that WINTER SPORTS such as, ski racing, ski instruction and ski training, skiing and snow-boarding
in general are hazardous activities and involve a great deal of risk and of physical injury. I know that there are
natural an man-made obstacles or hazards, surface and environmental conditions, and other risks which in
combination with my actions or the actions of others can cause me very sever and/or even fatal injury and/or
property damage. I understand that snow skiing and snow ski racing are inherently dangerous activities and I
voluntarily assume the risk of all course conditions and any and all risk of injury and/or death or property damage.
2.
I am aware that at dances, parties, social functions, dinners or any other activities sponsored, operated, managed or
promoted by the NBS that alcohol may be served. I voluntarily release and waive any claims against the NBS
which can be attributed to serving, providing or allowing to be served alcoholic beverages at such functions. I
further release NBS from liability for my actions or the actions of others attributed to the serving or providing of
alcohol or alcoholic beverages.
3.
In lawful consideration of being permitted by the NBS or one of its affiliated organizations, employees, agents and
volunteers to participate in WINTER SPORTS and any other activities, I hereby agree that I, my heirs,
distributees, guardians, legal representatives and assigns will not make claim against, sue or attach the property of,
or prosecute the NBS and/or any of its affiliated organizations, employees, agents, volunteers for injury or damage
resulting from the negligence of or other act howsoever caused by any employee, agent, volunteer or contractor of
the NBS or its affiliates as a result of my participation in any summer activities or any other event sponsored by the
NBS or its affiliates. In addition, I hereby release and discharge the NBS and its affiliated organizations,
employees, agents and volunteers from all actions, claims or demands that I, my heirs, distributees, guardians, legal
representatives or assigns may now have or hereafter have for injury or damage or even death resulting from my
participation in any activity related to any snow ski racing event, skiing, boarding, training or instruction or any
other event sponsored in whole or in part by the NBS and/or its affiliates. I also waive and release any claim that I
may have against the NBS, its affiliates, organizations, employees, agents and volunteers from any claim based
upon negligence or breach of warranty. I agree to indemnify the NBS for any and all claims brought by a third
party, which I may cause.
4.
I expressly agree that the foregoing release, waiver and indemnity agreement is intended to be as broad and as
inclusive as is permitted by the law of the STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE and that if any portion of it is held
invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall notwithstanding continue in full legal force and effect.
5.
I hereby acknowledge that my membership in the NBS does not in any way include or guarantee to me any
insurance coverage of any kind.
6.
If I am signing this liability release on behalf of a minor less than eighteen (18) years of age (the child), I represent
that I am the parent and/or legal guardian of such child; I accept responsibility for all of the child's medical
expenses incurred in connection with any summer sports or any other activities sponsored by the NBS or its
affiliates. Furthermore, I agree to indemnify the NBS for any and all claims brought by the child and I agree to
indemnify the NBS for any and all claims brought by a third party arising in connection with the child.
