Biome Powerpoint Presentation
You will be assigned one of the following biomes:
1. Desert
2. Tundra
3. Coniferous Forest
4. Deciduous Forest
5. Grasslands
6. Rain Forest
7. Coral Reef
8. Wetlands
It is your turn now to become the teacher.
You must use the Internet to research this biome, focusing on the required elements listed below.
Once the research is complete, prepare a 6-10 slide powerpoint presentation about that particular
biome. For your biome, you must have:
1. A general description of the biome, including the absolute or relative location, general climate, seasons,
and plant and animal populations.
2. A world map with the global distribution of the biome clearly marked and labeled.
3. A representative climate graph showing monthly precipitation and temperatures for a particular year as
well as a short anecdotal summary of the climate.
4. Examples of animal and plant adaptations that allow them to survive in this biome.
5. A food web containing animals and plants at the following trophic levels: producers, consumers, , top
predators, and decomposers.
6. Pictures of the biome as well as common animals and plants found there.
7. Three questions that can be used on a test at the end of the presentations.
