CATCO Complimentary Ticket Policy
**Due to the limited number of seats available in the Studio Two Theatre,
the Comp Ticket Policy For All Shows has changed.**
All CATCO employees (including cast and crew) are allowed a total of 4 comp tickets for each production, which
are only valid for certain performances as follows:
 up to four comp tickets may be used for the invited dress rehearsal for each production.
 up to 2 of the 4 comps may be used for opening night or for any night of the run other than Fridays and
Saturdays.
 No comp tickets will be issued for Fridays or Saturdays (excepting opening night).
To be clear:
 To use all four of your comp tickets, at least two must be used for the invited dress rehearsal.
 You have 2 comps that can be used during the regular run of the show. These can either be used on
opening night or for another performance during the regular run.
 No comps will be issued on Friday or Saturday nights, with the exception of opening night.
All comp ticket requests are subject to availability. All complimentary ticket forms must be submitted no later
than 24 hours prior to the performance requested. All weekend comps must be turned into the box office
by 3:00PM on Friday. No exceptions.
To reserve comp tickets, please follow this procedure:
1. Please fill out and submit the Comp Ticket Request Form. Additional copies are available on the CATCO
Callboard or online at the creative team webpage http://www.catco.org/creative_resources.asp.
2. Submit completed forms ONE of the following ways:
a. via email to rwhitaker@capa.com
b. fax to the Box Office at (614) 340-2272
c. drop off at the Box Office in person
 The CAPA Box Office is located at the Ohio Theatre (39 E. State Street). Their hours are:
M-F 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (Not open Sunday.)
 On CATCO performance nights, a CAPA Box Office person is available in the Studio Theatre
Lobby, beginning two hours prior to the performance.
d. drop off to the Stage Manager (keep in mind the 24 hour rule and Stage Management office hours).
Special Information for Opening Night Comps Only:
 Opening Night comps will be held at the box office and may be picked up at will call starting at 6pm on
opening night at the CATCO Studio Lobby box office. They cannot be picked up prior to this time, nor on
prior days.
 Comps will be held at the box office until 7:30p.m. Any comps not picked up by 7:30 p.m. will be released
for sale.
 The person who made the comp request may NOT pick the tickets up, change the name, and leave them at
will call for someone else.
 All comp request names will be put onto a list and filled at the box office upon pickup.
Things to remember when requesting comp tickets:
 Please fill out the form completely or the ticket request will not be processed.
 Comp tickets will be held at the Will Call in the Studio Theatre Lobby the day of the requested
performance.
 Regarding the 24-hour notice requirement, please take into consideration the Box Office hours (listed
above) and submit your request accordingly.

CATCO Complimentary Ticket Policy
 Please do not re-submit your ticket request without speaking to the Box Office or Stage Manager. Resubmitted ticket requests often result in ticket duplications, which can mean lost revenue for the theatre,
as well as count against your 4-ticket maximum.
 Please remember that if your comp tickets are not released or picked up for the requested performance,
those tickets will have counted against your 4-ticket maximum.
 Additional tickets may be purchased through the Box Office.
o If you would like your party of comps & purchased tickets to sit together, you may submit your
payment information with the Comp Ticket Request Form.
o There are no discounts for CATCO employees. However, there are same-day student and senior
half-price tickets, as well as limited promotions and coupons throughout the season (check with
the Box Office for details).
o Preview floor tickets cost $32.50; Preview balcony tickets cost $20.50
o Regular floor tickets cost $40.00; Regular balcony tickets cost $25.00
o All “11 @ 11” matinee tickets cost $11.50
o Please be aware that the following added fees apply when purchasing tickets:
 Ticketmaster charges fees ranging from $5-$9 per ticket
 Phone orders at the CAPA Box Office incur a $2.50 service charge per ticket
 No additional charge if you visit the CAPA Box Office in person
 If your guests have special needs (e.g. wheelchair seating, etc.), please make a note on your Comp Ticket
Request Form.
 If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Box Office or the Stage Manager, who will be
happy to assist you.
Please remember that comp tickets that are reserved, but not used are lost revenue for the theatre. Please
remind the people receiving your comps to use the tickets or contact the Box Office to release them.
