This is a chance to see winter water forces at work and pick up litter. Then we’ll have an artistic response to ‘map’ the stream on a butcher paper mural. Students have helped grow native Oregon ash and big-leaf maple from seed, and now we can plant them. We may also have time to plant more seed for next year’s trees. Boots and warm clothing are needed! Course #2300 Ages 9-17 Tue Jan 11 10:00-12:00 Do you like action, hands-on stuff, and mysteries? Then enter the fascinating world of forensics. These action-packed sessions train you to become a C.S.I. specialist on a mock crime scene. Use the tiniest evidence to solve challenging mysteries. Examine your own fingerprints/shoe wear prints, make invisible prints visible, analyze “blood” splatters, and perform other amazing tests to solve the crime. Talk to a police officer and find our about his/her work. At the end you will actually go into the mock crime scene and will collect evidence.
