 Portrait Artist of the Year – a Sky Arts nationwide competition launched to find the nation’s best new
portrait painting talent. Presented by Frank Skinner and Joan Bakewell. Celebrity Sitters include Robert
Lindsay, Juliet Stevenson and John Hannah. Regional events in Dublin, Cardiff, Glasgow and London
with a live final from the National Portrait Gallery and a commission for the winner to paint Hilary Mantel
for the British Library. 16 hours of programming for Autumn 13

staff living in a Grade II star listed house with own grounds in the Royal Parks. Involved at planning permission
stage. Liaison with local council/authorities, English Heritage, architectural historian, landlord and freeholder.
Production team, studio gallery and crew all based on location. Residential location set up/hidden camera
filming. 24/7 supervision of contributors/location.
