Society for Neuro-Oncology will hold its 13th Annual Scientific Meeting, on November
20-23, 2008, at the Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort, in Lake Las Vegas, Nevada. A total
of eight $1500 scholarships will be awarded at the discretion section leaders of each of
the following geographical regions (one per each region): Central America & the
Caribbean, Central and Southern Africa, China & associated countries, Eastern Europe,
Far East and Australasia, Indian Sub-Continent, North Africa & the Middle East and
South America.
In order to be considered for one of the travel scholarships, the applicant must meet
the following guidelines:

Work and live outisde the United States and Canada
Be a medical professional with a focus in neuro-oncology
Could otherwise not attend without the benefit of a travel scholarship
Is not presenting a poster or giving an oral presentation at the SNO meeting
Have no visa problems entering the United States (SNO cannot provide visa
assistance)
6. Complete accompanying application (next page) and return by August 25, 2008
Applicants will be notified via email if their application is accepted for a
scholarship.
Scholarship money will be awarded during the meeting.
